April 17: Community invited to annual Easter egg hunt

FREDERICK, Md.—The Hood College Student Government Association will host its annual Easter egg hunt April 17 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. in the Coblentz Seminar Room and The Hodson Outdoor Theater.

The event is free and open to all children who are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Sign up for the Easter egg hunt will begin in Coblentz Seminar Room, located in the lower level of Coblentz Hall, at 1 p.m. for children ages 1 to 7, and at 2 p.m. for children ages 8 and older. The egg hunt will take place in The Hodson Outdoor Theater. 2Children should bring a basket to collect eggs; eggs will be redeemable for candy and small prizes.

In addition to the hunt, other activities—face painting, arts and crafts and storytelling—will be offered. Families will also have the opportunity to take pictures with the Easter bunny.

Parking will be available in the Chapel parking lot.
