Nov. 19: Gallery features faculty, staff artworks

FREDERICK, Md.—An art exhibition featuring works by Hood College's art department faculty and staff will be on display Dec. 5 through Jan. 25, 2014, in the College's Hodson Gallery.

A reception is scheduled for Dec. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the gallery, located in the Tatem Arts Center. The exhibiting artists will give short talks about their works beginning at 6 p.m.

The gallery is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The exhibition features book arts, ceramics, paintings, photographs and sculptures. The exhibiting artists—Jamie Combs, Richard Creighton, Gary Cuddington, Marshall Dupuie, Adam Farcus, Ann Hobart, Joyce Michaud and Karen Taylor, among others—teach studio art courses or serve as support staff for the department.
