Sept. 9: Concert features 11 faculty performers

FREDERICK, Md.—Eleven performing members of the department of music at Hood College will present a concert Sunday, Sept. 25 at 3 p.m. in Brodbeck Music Hall.

Performing in the Faculty Showcase Concert are Jan Aaland and Catherine Porter-Borden sopranos; David Duree, clarinet; Alison Bazala Kim, cello; Elaine Wright and Noel Lester, piano; RoseAnn Markow Lester, violin; Barbara Spicher, flute; Ed Stanley, oboe; Wayne Wold, harpsichord; and Anna Claire Ayoub, bassoon. The selections span from the Baroque to Modern Eras, and include works by Vivaldi, Handel, Telemann, Brahms, Faure, Debussy, Arensky and others.

There is no charge for the concert and tickets are not required. Brodbeck Music Hall is handicapped accessible.
