FREDERICK, Md.—The annual student juried art exhibit at Hood College is scheduled for Feb. 25-March 4.
Any students currently enrolled at Hood College may submit artwork. Students may submit up to three individual works of art created in classes or independently.
Artwork can be any artistic medium, including painting, drawing, ceramics and photography. Cynthia Baush, assistant professor of art at Frederick Community College, will jury and select award winners from the submitted artwork.
Work must be submitted to the Hodson Gallery in the Tatem Arts Center Feb. 22 between noon and 5 p.m. or Feb. 23 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Submission forms will be available at the submission location. All entries must be ready to hang and install. There are no entry frees.
The reception is Feb. 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with the awards ceremony at 6 p.m. The awards will include a Best of Show award for graduate student submissions and first, second and third place for undergraduate student submissions.
