FREDERICK, Md.—An information session for the first doctoral program at Hood College is scheduled for March 10.
This event will be in Whitaker Campus Center, Room 220 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Potential applicants will receive information about how to apply for the program, the entrance requirements and what the three-year cohort program includes in terms of course work and experiences.
Hood’s doctoral cohort program—unique in Maryland—offers a choice of two degrees: a doctorate of organizational leadership and a doctorate of business administration. Both are designed specifically to prepare mid-career professionals to transform their organizations and their communities responsibly and sustainably for the future. Information about the difference between the DOL and the DBA will be explained.
The doctoral program was designed in consultation with area businesses and organizations. It features personal attention and instruction from faculty with academic and real-world experience.
This is an informal, drop-in event in which potential students can meet some of the faculty and learn about the program. RSVP at www.hood.edu/gradevents. For more information, contact Kathleen Bands at firstname.lastname@example.org or 301-696-3818.
