Feb. 8: Post-election panel discussion

FREDERICK, Md.—The Department of Political Science at Hood College is hosting a post-election panel discussion Feb. 8.

The discussion, titled “Election 2016: The Rocky Road to the White House and Beyond,” is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the Hodson Science and Technology Center, Room 131. The four panelists are Hood political science professors Hoda Zaki, Tamelyn Tucker-Worgs, Carin Robinson and Paige Eager.

The topics covered will include gender and race in the 2016 elections, the Trump administration and implications for foreign policy, lessons about U.S. politics from the 2016 elections, and international observations about the 2016 U.S. elections. The panel will give short presentations followed by time for discussion.
