EDUC 579 Collaborative Decision Making for Inclusion

(3 credits) 

This course provides teachers, administrators and other school personnel with the skills to plan and implement educational programs for students in general and in special education classrooms. Topics include effective consultation and collaboration skills, program and placement options, problem-solving and decision-making techniques, the role of the family in educational programming and related multicultural issues. Research findings and practical applications will be considered.
