Prerequisites: EDUC 578, EDUC 583 and EDUC 586. (First and second semesters for a full year/
This course is a yearlong internship experience (beginning in the fall and concluding in the
spring) with a practicing elementary school principal for a range of administrative experiences
for a minimum of 280 clock hours in the field for the yearlong internship. The culmination of
the experience will result in the submission of an administrative portfolio which will allow the
development of the intern to be evaluated by college faculty and, where possible, by a public
school administrator. The course will also include class experiences with case studies and
vignettes of administrative dilemmas and problems.
