Candidates participate in a culminating project that reflects an integration of all the previous courses in a transdisciplinary activity. Emphasis is placed on problem solving and making real-life connections through an activity-centered approach using current technology, content curriculum materials, and STEM pedagogy. Projects may include an action research with a STEM focus, STEM curriculum design and development, or a project based on a school or county initiative.
