Research Opportunities
Our location in Frederick, Md., offers unique opportunities for our majors. We are within walking distance of major research laboratories at Fort Detrick and a half hour away from the National Institute for Standards and Technology. There are many other government and private industry laboratories within an hour's drive. These facilities offer wonderful opportunities for field trips, faculty and student research, seminars, access to adjunct faculty and guest speakers, and the use of library facilities. For information regarding off campus internships please contact the Career Center.
