Using IQWeb
How to check your grades, class schedule, unofficial transcript,
and account balance on-line:
- Go to the main Hood Web page.
- In the upper right, in the "Quick Links" box, scroll down and select IQWeb from the list.
- The IQWeb start page displays. Click on the Login graphic on the left. You might see a window that says you will be viewing pages over a secure connection--click OK if this window pops up.
- Click on "Request Password Assistance." Choose the "Current Hood College Student, Faculty, or Staff" option. Enter your Hood username (abc1, for example, not abc1@hood.edu) and click "Email New Account Password."
- A new IQWeb password will be e-mailed to your Hood e-mail address. The password will be a mix of upper and lowercase letters on one side and a number on the other side, separated by a symbol. See below for help on accessing your Hood e-mail account.
- When you have the new password, click "Sign In" on the left side of the Web page (or follow steps 1 through 3 above). Enter your Hood username and your new IQWeb password, then click the "Sign In" button. Passwords are case-sensitive--you must enter the new password exactly as it was sent to you. You can change your IQWeb password to whatever you'd like by clicking "Change Password" under "Account Information" on the left.
- When you've signed into IQWeb, the options to check your grades, course schedule, unofficial transcript and account information will be on the left side of the Web page. If you do not see these options on the left hand side of the screen, select "Change Roles" under "Navigation" on the left. A screen showing your available security roles will display. Select your Hood_Student_Access role.
If you run into trouble, e-mail euc@hood.edu or call (301)696-3622 (ext. 3622 on campus) between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Hood e-mail account help can be found on the IT department page of the Hood Web site.
