Student E-Mail
E-Mail at Hood College may be accessed through two basic methods: (1) Webmail and (2) Mail Client. Both methods will provide you a safe and secure avenue to access your mail here at Hood. Each student account will receive 250 megabytes of space and includes anti-virus protection as well as a 2-layer spam filtering system.

E-mail Clients
Hood does not recommend nor support any specific e-mail client for students. However, we do provide basic guidelines/instructions on connecting the following clients to Hood's e-mail infrastructure:

Webmail
The preferred method of accessing your e-mail at Hood is through webmail. Webmail can be accessed from any Internet browser such as: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Camino or Netscape, to name a few. We offer the option of regular or secure webmail. The easiest way to get to the email login screen is through the Hood Quick Links box in the top right corner of the college’s main web page. Just click on the down arrow and select Webmail, or you can type in either of the following addresses (will open in new window):
