Spring 2010 Schedule of Classes
Undergraduate Registration Dates and Procedures - Spring 2010
Classes begin Monday, January 25 at 8:30 a.m.
STEP 1: Academic Advising in adviser's office
Advising for full-time students: Friday, November 6
Advising for part-time students: Monday, November 2 - Friday, November 6
Only your assigned academic adviser, listed on IQWeb, may authorize you for registration. Registration cards must be completed and signed by the adviser.
- Prerequisites: You may only register for courses for which you have met the required prerequisites.
- Select alternate courses in case your first choices are full.
Instructor’s signatures are needed for independent studies, x-credits, departmental honors, and any course in which you are required to have the permission of the instructor to enroll. Registration for any of these course types must be done in person in the Registrar’s Office (Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.).
STEP 2:
Resolve any holds placed on your account, such as those noted by Accounting, the Registrar, the Health Center or Residence Life.STEP 3: Registration
The order of registration is determined by current class standing. Once registration is open for your class, it continues until classes begin.The schedule for Spring 2010 registration is as follows:

Once your adviser has authorized that you are clear to register in the database, you may enter your course selections according to the schedule listed above. Keep your approved registration card as a back-up and, if you are registering for any courses that need faculty approval, your registration card will be needed for processing these course registrations in the Registrar’s Office. Follow the "Find Out About On-line Registration Link" indicated above.
Drop/Add Period: Tuesday, November 10 - Monday, February 8. NOTE: On-line drop/add ends at 8:30am, Monday, January 25. Once classes begin, all drop/adds must be processed in-person in the Registrar’s Office.
New Student/Non-degree registration begins: Monday, November 16.
NOTE: Payment for Spring 2010 classes is due January 15. For questions regarding billing, contact the Accounting Office (301-696-3607).

STEP 1:
ACADEMIC ADVISING IN ADVISER’S OFFICE FOR ALL DEGREE CANDIDATES – You must complete the January Term Registration Card, have it signed by your adviser and be authorized for registration before you can register.STEP 2: Resolve any holds placed on your account, such as those noted by Accounting, the Registrar, the Health Center, and/or Residence Life.
STEP 3: Register for classes on-line. Registration begins Monday, November 16.
