Student and Parent Loans

This Web page will assist you in completing your federal requirements for any federal loans you were offered in your financial aid award letter. Remember that Federal Loan Master Promissory Notes (MPN) are legal and binding documents. By signing the MPN you promise to repay your current and future loans. The Note is valid for 10 years and does NOT require you to complete the process again for subsequent borrowing within that 10 year period.

If you are eligible to receive federal loans, please follow the instructions to complete the appropriate MPN online. After completing the MPN and signing it electronically, be sure to print a copy for your records.

First-time borrowers are required to complete entrance loan counseling before funds can be applied to your student tuition account.

  This information is for first-year and transfer students interested in applying for a Stafford loan and/or returning students who have not previously borrowed a Stafford loan and wish to apply.
