How To Apply

Admission to Hood College is offered on the basis of academic achievement, demonstrated commitment to personal development and potential for intellectual growth.

The links below will take you to the online application for students who wish to transfer to Hood. We suggest that you reserve 30 minutes to complete the application.

When you are ready to submit the online application, be sure to print a copy for your files.

  • Apply online (application free is waived) or download and complete the Transfer application.

  • Submit official college transcripts from each college or university previously attended. To assist you in requesting your transcript sent to Hood College please download the Transcript Request Form.
  • Note: If you are transferring to Hood with less than 24 transferable credits, then you will also need to request that an official copy of your High School Transcript be sent to Hood. If you have graduated within the past two years Hood College also requires that you submit official SAT and/or ACT scores.

  • If you plan to apply for financial aid, please complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We recommend that you apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Hood College’s FAFSA code number is 002076. Please remember you will need to request your pin number prior to completing the FAFSA at www.pin.ed.gov.

Applicants will be notified of the admission decision within two to three weeks following the completion of the application process.

International students should also submit the Hood College Transfer International Application.
