We welcome visits from prospective transfer and adult students throughout the year. You can spend an hour or two with us and learn a lot about Hood College.
Meeting with a Transfer Counselor
An information session with a transfer counselor is an excellent way for you to learn more about Hood's specific academic programs. In turn, we will gain additional insight into your interests, abilities, accomplishments and your goals for the future. An information session usually lasts about 30 minutes. Appointments are available during business hours throughout the year and on select evenings and weekends. For those who do not live within commuting distance from Hood, telephone sessions may be arranged.Tours
Daily tours of campus with a Hood College student are scheduled throughout the year. Tour guides are chosen for their knowledge about student life, traditions and facilities. Your tour guide can describe life as a Hood student, therefore, don't hesitate to ask questions as you walk with your student guide around the campus.If You Have More Time
We can tailor a schedule specifically for you. Your visit could also include:- sitting in on a class
- meeting with a faculty member in your area of academic interest
- eating lunch in the dining hall
- visiting the Career Center
- learning more about credit for prior experience
