Congratulations on being admitted to Hood College!

Fall 2016 Semester New Students:

Next steps to enrollment 

  • First-year students
    1. Submit enrollment deposit to secure a place in the first-year class and residence halls (if the student wishes to reside on campus)  
    2. Set up Hood College email account (instructions are mailed upon receipt of enrollment deposit)
    3. Submit official transcripts of  final grades
    4. Request College Board send official score reports of any AP exams taken in high school to Hood
    5. Register for upcoming Admitted Students' Day
    6. Learn more about and register for the comprehensive orientation and transition program that we are designing for you! During this all inclusive program, you will:

      • Confirm your course schedule
      • Receive your iPad along with a special tutorial
      • Meet new students and other members of the Hood Community
      • Learn about the First Year Read and First Year Seminars
      • Have an opportunity to be introduced to campus support services
       
  • Transfer students  
    1. Submit enrollment deposit to secure a place in the class and residence halls (if the student wishes to reside on campus)   
    2. Set up Hood College email account (instructions are mailed upon receipt of enrollment deposit)
    3. You will be contacted by a member of the academic advising team with further instructions for course registration
    4. Sign up for Transfer Transition, a special orientation program for transfer students
    5. Send final transcripts to the registrar's office
