He also leads the team with 12 assists. Jason Anderson continues to pace the Blazer offense with 18 goals and four assists for 22 points. Hood wraps up the regular season at Villa Julie College Saturday.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE (2-5, 2-0 AWCC): Hood wraps up its seven-game homestand Saturday against Lebanon Valley College. Last week, Laurie Burrier and Liz Rakowski each scored a pair of goals in a narrow loss to Ferrum College. Rakowski along with teammates Britney Colandreo and Rachel Loss notched single tallies against Georgian Court University. Hood remains in first place in the Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference at 2-0.

SOFTBALL (7-11, 3-1 AWCC): Sophomore Jamie Gardner pitched a three-hit complete game shutout in the opener and junior Jamie Bussey capped a dramatic come-from-behind victory with a walk-off solo homerun in the bottom of the seventh as the Hood College softball team swept the visiting Gallaudet University Bison, 8-0 in five innings and 6-5, in non-conference action Friday. Ashley Lenhart was 2-for-2 and drove in four of Hood's eight runs in the opener. In the nightcap, the Blazers rallied from four runs down and drilled three homeruns in the final two innings to complete a remarkable comeback. The Blazers have an important weekend ahead as they travel to two Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference rivals, Chatham College Friday and Mary Baldwin College Sunday.

MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD (Men: 7-3; Women: 5-3): Saturday's Washington & Jefferson Invitational was cancelled and the Blazers have the week off before traveling to Westminster, Md., for the McDaniel Twilight Invitational April 17.
