| MEN'S BASKETBALL (19-6, 12-4 CAC): Hood ended the 2006-07 regular season with a three-game win streak after picking up a road win over York College (Pa.) and a 100-83 victory over Salisbury University on Senior Day at Gov. Thomas Johnson High School. Hood clinched the 2007 CAC regular season title in its first year in the conference. With the win over York Thursday, Hood became the first CAC team to sweep the Spartans in three years. The last conference team to down the Spartans twice in one season was Catholic in 2003-04. Hood then closed out the regular season hosting Salisbury University Saturday and reached the century mark for the fourth time in program history, scoring a 100-83 win. By clinching the regular season crown, Hood secured home-court advantage throughout the CAC tournament, which begins Tuesday. The top-seeded Blazers will take on the eighth-seeded Goucher College Gophers at 8 p.m. at Gov. Thomas Johnson High School. A win Tuesday will send the Blazers to the semifinal round Thursday against the winner of the St. Mary's/Marymount game. Admission to the CAC tournament games is $5 for adults and $2 for students.
