Jan. 5 vs. Gettysburg College 7 p.m.

Head coach Tom Dickman (above) and the Blazers return to the hardwood for the first time since Dec. 19 with a nonconference matchup against the Gettysburg College Bullets Saturday at Gov. Thomas Johnson High School. Hood and Gettysburg squared off last Jan. 4, 2006 when the Bullets recorded a 72-49 victory on their home court. Hood is currently in first place in the Capital Athletic Conference at 3-1 while Gettysburg also sports a 3-1 league record but lists third in the Centennial Conference.

Hood has been idle since Dec. 1 but enjoyed a successful training excursion to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., over the holiday break. Freshman Kyle Atras (above) and the Blazers travel to Capital Athletic Conference rival Salisbury University Saturday for a dual meet at 2 p.m.
