Welcome to Commuter Life at Hood College! Please check out this important information for students living off-campus.
Hood College is very supportive of our commuter students. We strive to make the commuter experience as rich and rewarding as possible. Through Student Life, commuters are provided with a variety of support services, including their own dedicated space on the second floor of the Whitaker Campus Center, special commuter programs held throughout the school year, and the Commuter Council, an organization that represents commuter students on campus.
This helpful commuter student web-guide provides you with all the pertinent information about life as a Hood College Commuter Student as well as references to other resources that can help enrich your experience. I encourage you to read through this web-guide and connect with the staff in Student Life. These resources are valuable tools that can provide answers to all your commuter questions, explain the services available to you, and identify offices and individuals who can assist you.
I also encourage you to take advantage of all Hood has to offer: commuter programs; student organizations and clubs; academic and departmental organizations and events; and athletics and intramurals. Engaging in these activities will provide you with the full experience of a Hood College student.
