Cumberland Valley Consortium - Fourteen four-year colleges in Maryland, Central Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia have joined together to provide their constituents with resources unavailable to any one single institution. The CVC sponsors one of the area's largest on-site job fairs each February, as well as a virtual job fair each summer.
Frederick County's Job Training Agency - This division of the Frederick County Government helps residents to identify and develop workplace skills. In addition, individuals can use the resources of the agency to locate employment opportunities.
Selective Liberal Arts Colleges - Banding together to increase the resources available to their students, ten liberal arts colleges and universities in Virginia and Maryland formed SLAC.
Public Leadership Education Network - PLEN is a national consortium working to educate women for public leadership. PLEN believes that women’s participation is critical in shaping public policy in communities, the nation and the world. PLEN offer students opportunities to learn about and practice leadership as student government leaders, public policy interns and community service volunteers. PLEN colleges offer courses on leadership and sponsor women’s leadership institutes that serve women in their region. Funding assistance is available for students interested in PLEN conferences.
