Finding an Internship

At Hood, students are not simply placed in internships. Instead, it is the students's responsibility to research options and find a suitable site. As always, if you need advice or assistance in locating an internship stop by the Career Center or drop us an email.

Resources

  • The Opportunities Network (OpNet) lists all internship postings sent to the Career Center. Students can search through these listings by major and location. To view these opportunities, go to
    OpNet.

  • OpNet also hosts the Mentoring Network, which contains a listing of alumnae/i and friends of Hood who are willing to host a Hood student in an internship. To get started finding a mentor who will sponsor you on an internship, click here:
    Mentoring Network.

  • There are several sites devoted to help you search for an internship. Check out the links below for local and national internship postings:

  • Rising Star Internships.
