The Department of Campus Safety provides information to the student newspaper, Hood Today, including a log that lists the date, time, location, and description of criminal incidents that occur on campus.

In certain situations, "Crime Alert" bulletins are posted, e-mailed, and mailed to various departments alerting the Hood College community members to serious crimes that may have occurred or that may pose a threat to others.
