Student Health Insurance
Hood College provides students access to health insurance through the Bollinger Insurance Company. If you do not have your own insurance and you are a full time student, you must purchase the College-sponsored plan. The insurance premium is listed on all full-time tuition bills and must be paid by Aug. 15 each year. Part-time students and graduate students may also sign up for this plan. If you are a full-time student and do not want the College insurance plan you must inform the Accounting Office by signing an insurance waiver card.
