Why did you choose Hood College?

I chose Hood College mainly for the MBA program along with the Blazers men’s basketball program. As a student-athlete in graduate school, I needed flexibility and hands-on professors who were able to help fit basketball along with academics. Hood College also provided a sense of community on and off the court, allowing me to feel welcomed and at home early on.

How has it helped your career?

The people I have developed relationships with have helped my career and academics over the past year and a half. From professors, coaches and teammates, the relationships I have formed continue to motivate and inspire me to perform to a high level.

How was the process of signing a professional sports contract?

The process of signing a professional basketball contract was very unexpected and constantly changing.

Networking is what allowed myself to land a contract for this upcoming season, and my personal reputation always came back to help me in a positive manor. Although stressful at times and filled with uncertainty, I gained a lot of insight and knowledge throughout the process.

What do you enjoy about Hood College?

I enjoy the people and all the relationships I formed at Hood College. I met so many amazing people in just my one year on campus, but I will now have meaningful life-long relationships!

Do you have a favorite memory?

My favorite memory at Hood College has to be our senior night, where the men’s basketball team and I beat number #1 ranked Alvernia, along with scoring my 1,000th career point that game.
