Easing children's fears
Hood Nursing Class of 2020
Graduation Year
2020
Hood nursing students, class of 2020, participated in the Frederick Regional Health System Teddy Bear Clinic April 27, 2019, in Baker Park. Children bring their teddy bears to the clinic for a checkup, which helps the children learn what it’s like when they visit a doctor or go to the hospital. The clinic was part of the 30th Annual Children’s Festival. Hood Nursing instructor and FMH Pediatric Nurse Ashley Coleman coordinated the students’ participation.
