Graduate School Advisory Council
The Council is comprised of industry leaders, executives, researchers, and professionals representing all areas in which Hood College offers graduate degrees. The Graduate School Advisory Council meets regularly with the Graduate School dean, administrators, and graduate program directors to provide advice on the currency and quality of Hood's post-baccalaureate, discipline-based, professional master's programs. They ensure that the graduate programs meet the needs of regional employers and reflect current professional and disciplinary expectations for content, completeness and quality.
The mission of the Graduate School Advisory Council is to provide advice and guidance to Hood College's Graduate School regarding its programs, strategies, and projects to ensure that they reflect the needs of the region specifically, and also reflect the needs of society in general.
