Policies

Refund Policy: 100 percent tuition refund if withdrawal is received prior to the first class meeting. 80 percent tuition refund if withdrawal is received within the first two weeks of the semester.

Withdrawal Policy: Failure to attend class does not constitute withdrawal. All notices of withdrawal must be in writing; it becomes effective only at the time it is received in the Graduate School Office. You may withdraw via the online withdrawal form, in writing by faxing your request to (301) 696-3597, or in person at the Graduate School Office.

Change of Name or Address: Please notify the Graduate School via
e-mail about name or address changes at your earliest convenience. Include all new phone numbers and e-mail addresses, as necessary. A name change also requires a copy of the marriage or divorce certificate or an updated driver's license. Send to: Graduate School, Hood College, 401 Rosemont Avenue, Frederick, MD 21701.
