Driving Directions

From points north

Take U.S. 15 south from Gettysburg and points north to Frederick. Exit at Rosemont Avenue. Turn right onto Rosemont. Travel approximately one-half mile and turn left at the main entrance to Hood (brick columns flank the entrance)

From points west

Take I-70 east from Hagerstown and other points west. Take Frederick exit onto U.S. 40. Go east on US 40 approximately three miles to US 15 north. Exit at Rosemont Avenue. Turn left onto Rosemont from the exit. Travel approximately one-half mile and turn left at the main entrance to Hood (brick columns flank the entrance).

From Washington and points south

Take I-270 north from Washington, D.C., toward Frederick and Gettysburg. Avoid getting onto I-70. I-270 ends just outside of Frederick and becomes US 15 North. Take US 15 North to the Rosemont Avenue exit. Turn left onto Rosemont from the exit. Travel approximately one-half mile and turn left at the main entrance to Hood (brick columns flank the entrance).

From Baltimore and points east

Take I-70 west from Baltimore to junction (in Frederick) with US 15 North (Exit 53). Take US 15 North to Rosemont Avenue exit. Turn left onto Rosemont. Travel approximately one-half mile and turn left at the main entrance to Hood (brick columns flank the entrance).

AS YOU COME INTO CAMPUS ON THE MAIN DRIVE, THE LIBRARY IS THE FIRST BUILDING ON THE RIGHT.

Parking

Continue up the main drive past the Library and the Tatem Arts Center. Go to the right at the "T" in front of Alumnae Hall (with the large columns). Turn left at Brodbeck Hall (with the verandah), and straight on into the large parking lot.
