Reference & Instruction

The Reference/Education Team plays a key role in fulfilling the Library's mission by guiding faculty, staff and students in mastering the skills necessary to navigate, identify, evaluate and interpret information resources.

To that end, the reference/education staff provides point-of-need instruction to classes and to individuals. The staff also selects, organizes and maintains a well-balanced collection of resources in a variety of formats to support the research needs of the Hood Community.
