Why I'm in SGA: To communicate to students that they do actually have a voice on this campus. Not many other students on other campuses have strong voices like we do. Our group of 12 executive board members is the voice of 1,500+ students, and SGA understands that. More visibility and branding will be a major goal of mine.

Why I'm in SGA: I am a part of SGA because I’ve been a part of House Council all of my three years at Hood and I have seen the impact a group of people can have when representing the wants of the student body. I am so fortunate to be a part of SGA, which is able to represent Hood College and its students to an even greater extent. I want SGA to become a big name on campus so that the students know who we are and that they can approach us and talk to us because we are here to represent their wants. I also want SGA to become a more cohesive and collaborative group of people who feel comfortable talking amongst each other and working with one another.
