Diverse Students
- Hood undergraduates hail from 25 states and the District of Columbia as well as 12 countries.
- 41.5% of undergraduate students and 39.2% of graduate students are either members of underrepresented populations or are from countries outside of the U.S.

In fall 2023, total enrollment was 2,078 students:
- 1,209 undergraduate students.
- 869 graduate students seeking master’s degrees, certificates or certifications.
Distinguished Faculty
- 96 dedicated professors ensure a low student-to-teacher ratio, so students receive personal and high-quality attention.
- 93% of all full-time faculty hold the doctorate or terminal degree in their field.
- 145 part-time faculty and numerous adjunct instructors who are community scientists and professionals complement the faculty with their expertise.
- 28% diversity rate for full-time faculty.
