  • Our 60-credit program combines coursework in counseling, supervision, teaching, research and scholarship, and leadership and advocacy, per CACREP guidelines. 
  • You will complete a series of hands-on internships, as you demonstrate your clinical counseling and supervision skills working with real clients and supervisees at the NeighborHood Counseling Training Center and teaching graduate-level counseling students. 
  • Throughout the program, you will conceptualize, research, write and defend your dissertation, which will be based on your own unique personal and professional goals in collaboration with faculty advisement. 
  • Counseling educators and supervisors are in high demand, with the Bureau of Labor Statistics projecting 18% job growth in the mental health counseling field by 2032.
