Biography
I joined the faculty at Hood College in 2005. I've taught at other institutions, but Hood has given me the opportunity to teach courses that I love, advise students in a meaningful way, and conduct research with undergraduates. I teach General Chemistry and Biochemistry and a few other specialized courses in our program. I advise all biochemistry majors in our program. I conduct research during the summer with undergraduates. Our current projects involve the expression and purification of zinc-finger proteins in the hopes of understanding their structures.
