Biography
I am a historian of modern Latin America with a concentration in revolutions and social movements, race and ethnicity, and inter-American relations. I completed my BA in Spanish at the University of Richmond in 2005, my MA in Latin American Studies at UNC-Charlotte in 2011, and my PhD in History at the University of New Mexico in 2017. My interests in history continue to grow and expand as I teach Medieval and Early Modern World History, Global Empires, and Public History here at Hood College.
