Biography
I came to Hood in 2017 as an adjunct professor and director of the educational leadership program in the education department. Prior to joining Hood College, I served in Montgomery County Public Schools for 32 years as a teacher and administrator. I retired in 2006 as the principal of Quince Orchard High School. Then, I spent three years, from 2006 - 2009, as a leadership coach with New Leaders for New Schools (NLNS) working with new principals in the District of Columbia Public and Charter Schools. After my work with NLNS, I worked from 2009-2015 with District of Columbia Public Schools as a central office manager, a middle school principal, and an instructional superintendent supervising eight high schools.
