Biography

I have been a pediatric nurse for over thirty years with twelve years dedicated to clinical education in the healthcare setting. My expertise lies in simulation education, where I've played key roles in developing and executing high-quality simulation scenarios. These scenarios have been instrumental in helping nursing students bridge the gap between theory and practice. I am dedicated to guiding new nurses through their transition to practice, using innovative simulation techniques to enhance critical thinking and clinical judgment. My commitment to nursing education is further demonstrated through my active involvement in professional organizations such as the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning, where I served as the Membership Chairperson, and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. This active involvement allows me to stay connected and contribute to the larger nursing community.
