Biography
I am energized by all things education and am drawn to courses about diversity, differentiation, teaching and learning strategies, theory, and curriculum planning. I find teaching varied content and experience levels quite rewarding. I teach education courses to undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students.
I love working with and supporting new teachers because I vividly remember what it was like for me when I was a novice. I am the principal investigator of the Hood Noyce grant which aims to prepare STEM teachers for culturally diverse classrooms. My research is mostly related to the work of novice teachers.
