Biography
With more than 36 years of experience in the field of education, I am most passionate about teacher professional learning and its impact on student achievement. I served as an adjunct professor at Hood College for 13 years before signing on full time as the Director of Professional Development Schools after my retirement from Frederick County Public Schools. During my 34 ½ year career with FCPS, I served as an elementary school classroom teacher, literacy specialist, central office teacher specialist for professional learning and school improvement, coordinator of professional learning and teacher induction P-12, assistant principal, and principal. My goal is to support our teacher candidates on their journey to becoming teachers - the most rewarding profession there is!
