Biography

I teach economics and finance and also research in those fields. I maintain open door policy for all my students and encourage students to drop in to discuss not only class related stuff but just about anything.

My research studies how the stock market volatility is transmitted through different markets. Additionally, I am interested in how economic policies can affect the welfare of children, especially in poor, developing countries.
