Sangeeta Gupta

Biography

I grew up all over the place - India, Japan, Canada, Las Vegas, but home for the last 5 years has been Frederick, MD. I am so excited to be at Hood College and I am thrilled to join the Psychology department. I have three young daughters, and in my free time, I love to travel and cook. My research focuses on the development of language, music, and mathematical abilities in infants, children, and adults, and how the various domains overlap. I am particularly interested in studying this through a cross-cultural lens.
