The Graduate School at Hood College presented the 2019 Biomedical Science Faculty Award to Andrew Musik, current graduate student in Hood College's Biomedical program. This award was established by Dr. Ann Boyd and is given annually to a top graduate student who demonstrates academic achievement, leadership ability, teamwork skills and contribution to the program.
Musik is currently employed at NIH/NCI, in the HIV dynamics and replication program. He was awarded the Young Investigator Award in both 2017 and 2018, at the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections.
