The Graduate School at Hood College presented the 2019 William T. and Joanne K. Roos Outstanding Cybersecurity Student Award to Davon Hill, current graduate student in Hood College's Cybersecurity program. This award is funded by Joanne Kate Roos.
Davon earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science here at Hood in 2016 and later enrolled in the master’s degree in Cybersecurity. He worked for a time in Hood’s IT division and received an offer to become the Director of IT Applications at Mount Saint Mary's, where he is currently employed and is co-leading a major reimplementation of Jenzabar, their student information system.
