Spring marks the launch of a series of graduate ceramic art exhibitions in the Hodson and Whitaker Galleries at Hood College. The shows feature a variety of work completed by seven current MFA or M.A. students. The exhibitions are the culmination of years of intense study in the art of crafting unique objects from clay and research into historical and contemporary movements in the ceramic arts.

The Hood College ceramic arts program offers advanced studio experiences and grounding in the science and technology of the ceramic arts to provide students with the skill and knowledge needed to develop personal aesthetic expression. The Ceramic Arts Scholarship is awarded annually to one new MFA student to help with tuition and fees. Learn more about the program here
