Why did you choose Hood College?
I chose Hood College because of the reputation for excellence, Professor Kathleen Bands, Ph.D, and the in-person cohort style of learning. The careful selection of the composition of each cohort was also a major plus for me.
How has it helped your career?
The doctoral program, my professors and cohort colleagues have helped me understand leading myself, living my passion and given me the ability to work with others to find the same joy. Specifically, starting my leadership and organizational effectiveness consulting practice and writing my first book.
What did you enjoy about Hood College?
I enjoyed my fellow doctoral colleagues and our time together on Saturdays. We would take walks and go to lunch, do projects together, debate and learn from each other. We were a team that was there to win.
Do you have a favorite memory?
Our Zoom calls to prepare for group projects. One night was dog night. Everyone brought their dog to the work session. We really got to know each other, as we were virtually in each other’s home.
