Three outstanding students from our Honors Program—Casey Chamberlin (psychology major), Maggie Ralston(political science major), and Susan Boroskin(psychology major)—recently represented our institution at the Maryland Collegiate Honors Council (MCHC) Conference, earning recognition for their exceptional work.
The MCHC Conference brings together Honors students from across Maryland to present research on an annual theme. This year’s theme, “Invisible History, Visible Realities,” encouraged participants to explore overlooked narratives and their impact.
Our students stood out among their peers, with Maggie Ralston earning first place for her presentation and Casey Chamberlin receiving the prestigious Portz Awardfor four-year colleges—a distinction given to only one collegiate honors student statewide. This award recognizes not only academic excellence but also leadership, initiative, and community engagement.
Congratulations to Casey, Maggie, and Susan for their hard work and for representing our Honors Program with distinction!
