IT Student's Paper to be Presented at CGAMES Conference

The International Conference on Computer Games has accepted a paper written by grad student Turki Alkheliwi for publication and presentation at the CGAMES 2014 International Conference. CGames’ acceptance rate is just 32 percent.

Turki, a student in the Information Technology graduate program at Hood, submitted “Applying Game Theory Rules to Enhance Decision Support Systems in Credit and Financial Applications.”  The paper examines the potential of applying game theory to data mining mechanisms to enhance the accuracy of risk predictions in financial settings.

The conference is acknowledged as one of the leading research conferences devoted to advancing the theory and practice of computer games development. Turki credits his Hood “family” for his success.
