Outstanding MIT Graduate Student

The Management of International Technology program has selected Nishant Gurung as its Outstanding Graduate Student for 2013-2014. Program director Marvine Hammer lauds not only Nishant’s exemplary academic achievements — including the highest GPA in the program — but his compassion and integrity as well.

“Nishant continuously engages in community service, helping others with caring and dignity, here and in Nepal, his home country. He is dedicated to improving conditions there. Further, he is engaged with his Graduate School classmates and the program at large, giving time to others even when others might take that time to concentrate only on themselves.”
