Vanessa Y. Roberts

Vanessa Roberts earned her Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in human resources management from the State University of New York at Buffalo in Amherst. She began her career as a human resources generalist at the Buffalo Sabres National Hockey League corporate office.

After moving to Frederick, Maryland, she accepted a position at Hood College in October 2004. As the senior employment coordinator, she provides high-level support to the Hood community and the HR team. She administers all employment lifecycle processes as well as handles the recruitment and onboarding functions,along with other responsibilities.

As a native Buffalonian, she enjoys cheering on the Buffalo Bills during football season. Roberts also loves to support her daughter, who plays college volleyball. She currently resides in Frederick, Maryland, with her husband and daughter.
